How to tweet automatically (and still sound like yourself)
Tweeting automatically is a setup, not a trick: connect your account properly, teach the system your voice, pick a pace, and supervise until the drafts earn your trust. Here's the whole process.
Step 1 — Connect the right way
Use a tool that connects through X's official OAuth and API. That means no password shared, access revocable anytime, and posting that stays inside X's rules. If a tool asks for your X password, close the tab.
Step 2 — Teach your voice, set your rhythm
Write a short brand profile: topics, tone, phrasing, do-not-say list. Then set a sustainable pace — a few posts a day beats a burst you can't maintain. On AutoTweet, the AI drafts tweets, threads, and polls against that brief, and Smart Timing assigns each its best hour.
Step 3 — Supervise, then automate
Run review-first for a week: approve, edit, or bin drafts in the queue. When the drafts consistently sound like you, enable autopilot and the loop runs itself — drafting, timing, posting — while you spot-check whenever you like.
Frequently asked questions
How long does it take to set up automatic tweeting?
About five minutes: account, voice profile, rhythm. The supervised first week is where the quality comes from — after that, autopilot carries it.
Can I tweet automatically for free?
Scheduling is free forever on AutoTweet's Starter plan (5 queue slots, manual posting). AI drafting and auto-posting are Pro features at $24/mo.
Is tweeting automatically safe for my account?
With official OAuth, human-pace caps, quality-scored drafts, and no engagement spam, yes. The risk pattern to avoid is password-sharing tools and burst posting — neither happens here.
